Meet Our Team

Dr. Woody established the Animal Health Center in 1992. He has a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University; a Master of Science in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery from Texas A&M University; and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, Canine/Feline Specialty.

After receiving his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1980, he went on to complete an internship in the area of small animal medicine and surgery and a three year residency in small animal internal medicine at Texas A&M University. In 1984, he joined the faculty of Mississippi State University as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the College of Veterinary Medicine. He was promoted to Associate Professor four years later, receiving tenure in 1989. He also was Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries at Mississippi State University. His clinical interests include cytology, oncology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, and dentistry.

Dr. Havron joined the Animal Health Center’s veterinary staff in 1998. She has a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. One of Dr. Havron’s primary roles at AHC is performing soft tissue surgeries such as spays, neuters, and one of her favorite surgeries, C-Sections.

In June 2009, Dr. Daffin began her career as a veterinarian at the Animal Health Center. She received her Bachelor of Animal Science and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in Gainesville. In 2016 she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. 

Dr. Kristin Tjardes was born and raised in Gibson City, IL on her family Polled Hereford cattle and grain farm. She received her bachelors degree in biology from Western Kentucky University. Dr. Kristin Tjardes completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 at Oklahoma State University. She is interested in behavior medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Anne Rigsby has been working in the middle Tennessee area since 2007 and began working at Animal Health Center of Franklin in 2021.  She received her Bachelor of Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee Knoxville.  She has special interest in behavior, dermatology, and weight management.

Dr. Lauren Ingraham joined Animal Health Center of Franklin as a veterinarian in June of 2022, however her time at Animal Health Center did not start there. She began working in the kennel at 15 years old after developing aspirations of attending veterinary school. She received her bachelors degree in Horse Science from Middle Tennessee State University. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University in May of 2022. Her clinical interests include nutrition and internal medicine.
