Roseanne HavronB.S., D.V.M.
Dr. Havron joined the Animal Health Center’s veterinary staff in 1998. She has a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. One of Dr. Havron’s primary roles at AHC is performing soft tissue surgeries such as spays, neuters, and one of her favorite surgeries, C-Sections.

Joanna DaffinB.S., D.V.M.
In June 2009, Dr. Daffin began her career as a veterinarian at the Animal Health Center. She received her Bachelor of Animal Science and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Kristin TjardesD.V.M.
Dr. Kristin Tjardes was born in Gibson City, IL. She was raised on her family Polled Hereford cattle and grain farm. She had several Border collie dogs, cats and horses growing up. She used to show cattle and horses in her younger days. This is how she originally became interested in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Kristin Tjardes attended the Western Kentucky University. There, she graduated with a Biology major and Chemistry minor. She completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 at Oklahoma State University. She is interested in behavior medicine, dentistry and soft tissue surgery.

Benny WoodyD.V.M., M.S., Diplomate A.B.V.P
Dr. Woody established the Animal Health Center in 1992. His clinical interests are cytology, oncology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, and dentistry. He has a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University; a Master of Science in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery from Texas A&M University; and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, Canine/Feline Specialty.
After receiving his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1980, he went on to complete an internship in the area of small animal medicine and surgery and a three year residency in small animal internal medicine at Texas A&M University. In 1984, he joined the faculty of Mississippi State University as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the College of Veterinary Medicine. He was promoted to Associate Professor four years later, receiving tenure in 1989. He also was Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries at Mississippi State University.

LauraClinic Coordinator
Laura worked 3 years at the Animal Health Center from 1995 to 1998. She then returned in 2005.

Amie joined the staff in 1997. Amie has an Associate Degree of Applied Science of Veterinary Technology from Columbia State and is a licensed veterinary medical technician.

Jessie joined the Animal Health Center staff in 2004 . She has an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Columbia State and is a licensed veterinary medical technician.

Alix Woody
Many of our clients enjoy the warm home like feeling that the decor provides. Mrs. Woody not only decorates the clinic with antiques and other home like decor, she brings the holidays alive with festive pieces that reflect the current holiday of the time.
